KIT Agency vs Squarespace: which approach fits your business?
Squarespace is a tool you use to build a site. KIT is a team that builds and runs it for you. Both are good at what they are for. Here is how to tell which one you need.
The fundamental difference
KIT Agency
KIT Agency is a managed service. We build your website, host it, run local SEO on it, plug in the software that catches every enquiry, and, if you want, run your short-form video marketing. One team, one monthly price, and a growth audit every month.
Squarespace
Squarespace is an all-in-one website builder with designer templates. You pick a template, then build and run the site yourself.

| Short-form video marketing | Available as Managed Marketing, researched, scripted, edited and published for you. | Not part of a website builder. |

Ownership and leaving
- You own your domain, your words and your photos, and every lead exports to a spreadsheet at any time.
- We run the hosting, the platform, the upkeep and, on the plans that include it, the local SEO.
- If you leave, software plans stop at the end of the month you paid for. The platform itself stays with us; your content and data go with you.
Choose Squarespace if…
- You enjoy designing and want a polished template you control.
- Your budget is tight and you have the time to do it yourself.
Choose KIT if…
- You want a team to build it, run local SEO and catch every enquiry for you.
- You want a monthly audit telling you what came in and what to fix.
Questions
Is KIT more expensive than Squarespace?
Yes, because it is a service, not a tool. The price includes the people who build the site, run the SEO and audit it every month.
Is my first month free?
On KIT website and software plans, yes: no setup fee and the first 30 days are free. Managed Marketing and Growth Partnerships are paid from the first month.
